City of Fairfax Police Investigating Robbery at Residence

City of Fairfax Police are investigating a robbery which occurred about 10:45 PM on Tuesday, September 10, at a residence in the 3900 block of Bradwater Street in the Comstock community. The occupants reported that two males forced their way into the townhouse, implied they had weapons, took several items of property and physically assaulted several of the occupants, who sustained minor injuries.

The suspects left the residence after one of the residents discharged a handgun, possibly striking one of the men. The suspects were described as black, in the twenties, one about six feet tall and the second about five feet nine inches tall, both of average build, wearing grey hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans. They fled on foot from the area. Police conducted an extensive search of the area utilizing a K-9 team and helicopter in attempting to locate them.
