Vehicle Theft Arrest
17-01839

10900 Block of Fairchester Drive – On February 3 at 9:08 AM the resident reported that her vehicle had been stolen from her driveway. The vehicle was located in the area and the operator taken into custody. Rosa Lopez, 46, of 3920 Egan Drive. Fairfax, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where she was charged with grand larceny and her bond was set at $3000.

Fraud Arrest

11190 Fairfax Boulevard / TD Bank – On February 3 at 10:36 AM the manager reported that a male subject had attempted to cash a forged check using fraudulent identification, The suspect was still in the area and was detained. After investigation by the Patrol Division, Nelson Ramirez-sanforenzo, 45, of 4550 NW 9th Street, Miami, Florida, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with two counts of uttering and one count of attempting to obtain money by false pretense. His bond was set at $1000.

Fraud Arrest

9504 Main Street / TD Bank – On February 3 at 2:46 PM bank employees reported that a male subject still in the bank had attempted to cash a fraudulent check. Following investigation by a Criminal Investigations Division detective, Adriano Milanes-Vera, 20, of 5020 SW 133rd Avenue, Miramar, Florida, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with forging a bank check and uttering a forged bank check. His bond was set at $64,000.

10473 Fairfax Boulevard / Denny’s - On February 4 at 2:29 AM the manager reported that two male subjects had left the restaurant without paying their bill.

10800 Block of Orchard Street – On February 4 at 10:40 AM the resident reported that sometime on January 24 or 25 unknown person(s) had stolen a gold amethyst ring from a bedroom in the home.

Shoplifting Arrest

9739 Fairfax Boulevard / Patriot Harley-Davidson – On February 4 at 1:20 PM employees reported that a male subject still on the premises had concealed several items of merchandise and and had left the business without paying for them. After investigation by the Patrol Division George William Lerch, Jr., 55, of 13615 Winterspoon Lane, Germantown, Maryland, was charged with concealing merchandise and released on a summons.
