Identity Theft

3700 Block of Farr Avenue – On February 15 at 3:34 PM the resident reported that in October 2016 unknown person(s) had used his identifying information to open a credit card account and had made charges in Georgia through the month of November 2016.


9602 Main Street / Lifetime Athletic – On February 15 at 3:38 PM the victim reported that sometime after 1:20 PM unknown person(s) had broken into his locker and stolen cash, credit and debit cards, a snorkel, swimming fins and a waterproof bag. The Patrol Division is investigating the case.

DUI Arrest

Chain Bridge Road / Orchard Street – On February 15 at 9:02 PM an officer who had conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle he had observed violating a red turn arrow determined that the driver was intoxicated. Anthony Michael Jenkins, 26, of 7309 James Madison Highway, Gainesville, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol—subsequent offense and issued citations for open container/drinking while driving and for red light violation. His bond was set at $2500.

Indecent Exposure

10560 Main Street / Mosby Tower – On February 16 at 11:42 AM the victim reported that about 7:30 PM on February 15 an unknown male subject had exposed himself to her through the window of the business while she was working. The suspect was described as white, about 40 years old and about five feet ten inches tall. The Patrol Division is investigating the case.
