4069 Chain Bridge Road / Hard Times Café Parking Lot – On January 15 the male victim reported that another male subject had approached him as he was about to enter a vehicle and struck him in the head and face multiple times, breaking his glasses. As the result of investigation by the Patrol Division, the suspect was positively identified and a warrant was obtained charging Alexander Javier Pinerua-Mendez, 31, of 9629 Nonquitt Drive, Fairfax, with assault and battery. On February 24 the warrant was served by a Fairfax County Police officer.
10376 Fairfax Boulevard / Patriots Café Parking Lot – On February 23 at 1:54 AM an employee of the business reported that sometime after 10:00 PM on February 22 unknown person(s) had punctured the tires of nine vehicles in the parking lot.
10000 Block of Mosby Woods Drive – On February 27 at 1:49 PM the resident reported that sometime between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM on February 25 unknown person(s) had opened a package which had been delivered to her door and had stolen numerous items of clothing from it. The U S Postal Inspection Service was notified and is investigating.
