Auto Theft Arrest
17-06055

10000 Block of Spring Lake Terrace – On April 21 at 2:07 AM officers responding to a single vehicle accident determined that the vehicle had been stolen from the 3400 Block of Country Hill Drive. After investigation by Patrol Division officers with assistance from Fairfax County Police, the vehicle driver who had fled the scene was located in the 3900 block of Tedrich Boulevard. Edwin Sanchez, 31, of 9533 Blake Lane, Fairfax, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with vehicle theft, hit and run, and driving on a revoked license and also served with a Fairfax County warrant for parole violation. He was ordered held without bond.

Embezzlement Arrest

9490 Main Street / Einstein Brothers Bagels – On April 21 at 9:12 AM a manager reported that an employee who was being terminated had stolen money from the cash register between February 1 and March 31. The suspect was taken into custody at the business. Muhammad Ali Solehria, 29, of 408 Holloway Court, Vienna, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with felony embezzlement and his bond was set at $2000.

3622 Old Post Road / Country Club Hills Swimming Pool – On April 22 at 10:20 AM board members reported that sometime between April 16 and April 21 unknown person(s) had thrown multiple items into the pool and had broken a window on the pool building.

Larceny from Vehicle

9842 Main Street / Parking Lot – On April 22 at 12:17 PM the vehicle owner reported that sometime between 9:45 AM and 11:00 AM unknown person(s) had removed the catalytic converter from his parked vehicle. It was subsequently determined that the catalytic converter had been removed from another vehicle parked in the 9800 Block of Fairfax Square.

9687 Fairfax Boulevard / Parking Lot - On April 23 at 12:00 Noon the vehicle owner reported that sometime between 10:00 PM on April 22 and 1:45 AM on April 23 unknown person(s) had punctured a tire on her parked vehicle.
