City Businesses Remain Open During Current Construction and Road Repairs, Detours
#FFXopen4biz in Old Town Fairfax and Beyond
The City of Fairfax reminds residents and visitors that city businesses — restaurants, retail, service, and more — remain open and ready to provide service. Construction dust and growing pains are temporary, but consumer options and satisfaction are always available in the City of Fairfax.
The City of Fairfax and the Fairfax City Economic Development Authority (EDA) have launched a new campaign, “Fairfax is Open for Business,” to remind consumers that all city businesses are open during temporary traffic disruptions.
Look for special promotions and purchasing opportunities involving businesses in Old Town Fairfax — and, in the near future, in other parts of the city, including: Northfax (the intersection of Route 29-50/Fairfax Boulevard and Route 123/Chain Bridge Road), Kamp Washington (the intersection of Route 29/Lee Highway, Route 50/Fairfax Boulevard, and Route 236/Main Street), as well as other areas in the city.
Customers are encouraged to share photos and stories of their shopping and dining experiences in the City of Fairfax on social media using the hashtag #FFXopen4biz.
