Credit Card Theft

9464 Main Street / Trader Joe’s – On July 24 at 5:15 PM the victim reported that unknown person(s) had stolen her wallet from her purse while she was shopping. The wallet contained cash, identification and credit cards, one of which subsequently had been used to make an unauthorized purchase.

Attempted Robbery

10944 Fairfax Boulevard / Wells Fargo Bank – On July 25 at 8:48 AM the female victim reported that while she was obtaining cash from the drive-through ATM a male subject got in the front passenger seat of her car and demanded the cash. When the victim started yelling and punching the suspect he got out of the vehicle without taking any money and fled on foot. The victim was not injured. The suspect was described as a thin white male in his thirties or forties, about six feet tall, wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case.


11001 Lee Highway / Aldi – On July 25 at 9:09 AM a cashier reported that after a male subject had presented money to pay for a purchase he had reached into the open cash drawer and grabbed an undetermined amount of cash. He then fled on foot. No one was injured. The suspect was described as a white male about 30, five feet 11 inches tall, wearing an all-gray outfit.
