False Report Arrest
17-11231

9400 Block of Main Street – On July 21 a male subject reported that another subject had attempted to rob him of his cell phone. As the result of extensive investigation by the Field Operations Division it was determined that no robbery attempt had occurred. A warrant was obtained on August 14 charging Ayoub Hinani, 24, of 8200 Mapleleaf Court, Springfield, with providing a false report to law enforcement. On August 19 the warrant was served at the Adult Detention Center and bond was set at $1500.

Larceny from Vehicle

3509 University Drive / Jim McKay Chevrolet – On August 18 at 10:19 AM a manager reported that sometime between 1:30 AM and 3:00 AM unknown person(s) had stolen tires and rims from three vehicles on the dealership’s lot. Windows were shattered on two of the vehicles. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

Brandishing Arrest

11180 Fairfax Boulevard / Comfort Inn – On August 18 at 10:40 AM employees reported that a male subject had been walking through the hotel displaying a handgun. Officers located the subject and took him into custody. Following investigation by the Field Operations Division, Terry Oakley, 46, of 4470 Oakdale Crescent Court, Fairfax, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with brandishing a firearm and public intoxication. He was ordered held without bond.

Shoplifting
17-12743

3965 Jermantown Road / 7-Eleven – On August 19 at 12:04 AM an employee reported that an unknown male subject had taken two six-packs of beverages from the store without paying.

Trespassing Arrest
17-12767

10360 North Street / City of Fairfax Regional Library – On August 20 at 4:36 PM an employee reported that a male subject who had been given trespass notices numerous times was again at the library. Shaun Donyell Folks, 39, of 2941 Dinwiddie Street, Arlington, was charged with trespassing and released on a summons.
