Prescription Fraud Arrest
10320 Main Street / Walgreen’s Pharmacy – On August 11 a pharmacist reported that since March 8 a female subject had fraudulently signed a doctor’s signature on multiple prescriptions and filled them at the pharmacy. As the result of investigation by the Field Operations Division the suspect was identified and warrants were obtained. Tracie Thomas, 43, of 7050 Lakota Drive, Woodbridge, was charged with four counts of prescription fraud and one count each of identity fraud and uttering. The warrants were served on September 27 at the Adult Detention Center and bond was set at $4000.
10360 North Street / City of Fairfax Regional Library – On September 20 at 10:54 AM the artist reported that on September 18 unknown person(s) had stolen a painting which had been hung at the library.
10350 Willard Way / Safeway – On September 26 at 3:29 PM an employee reported that an unknown male subject had gained entry to a locked glass cabinet, removed merchandise from it and left the store without making payment. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.
9900 Block of Pinehurst Avenue – On September 27 at 8:56 PM the resident reported that unknown person(s) had stolen her son’s bicycle from the front porch of the home about 5:30 PM.
