Larceny from Vehicle
9628 Fairfax Boulevard / Sunoco Service Station – On October 25 at 1:07 PM the vehicle owner reported that sometime between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM on October 24 unknown person(s) had stolen cash, a medical kit, sunglasses and perfume from his unlocked parked vehicle.
9400 Block of Silver King Court – On October 25 at 6:14 PM the female victim reported that about 3:10 PM she had been contacted at her workplace by a male subject claiming to be a lieutenant from the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office. The subject told her that a warrant had been issued to her for missing jury duty and that to avoid immediate arrest she would have to pay a fine by obtaining money cards and providing the numbers to him. The victim complied and subsequently contacted police.
Sager Avenue / Addison Road – On October 26 at 7:12 PM an officer investigating a vehicle crash determined that the driver involved was intoxicated. Sarah Elizabeth Bigelow, 59, of 4126 Addison Road, Fairfax, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and issued a summons for failure to maintain proper control.
Fairfax Boulevard / Rebel Run – On October 27 at 1:04 AM an officer who had conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle observed being operated erratically determined that the driver was intoxicated. Penelope Nunez Berguete, 24, of 1601 Valeview Court, Apopka, Florida, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and for driving without a license. Her bond was set at $2000.
