ARMED ROBBERY ARREST

City of Fairfax Police have arrested a subject in connection with an armed robbery which occurred on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 10911 Maple Street, Seven Eleven. Investigation revealed that a subject approached the clerk, displayed a firearm and made a demand for cash. After the clerk handed over the money, the subject fled the area on foot.
As a result of a tip received through Crime Solvers, detectives identified the subject and secured warrants for one count of robbery (18.2-58) and another for using or displaying a firearm in the commission of a felony (18.2-53.1). Alexander Berman, 25, of 2640 Meadow Hall Drive, Herndon was arrested and transported to the Adult Detention Center where a bond was not issued.
