DUI Arrest

18-7104

Fairfax Boulevard / Old Lee Highway – On May 27 at 1:54 AM an officer who had initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle being operated erratically determined that the driver was intoxicated. Veronica Medina, 34, of 2246 Mohican Drive, Falls Church, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bond was set at $4000.

 

Counterfeiting

9464 Main Street / Trader Joe’s – On May 26 at 5:05 PM an employee reported that between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM unknown person(s) had made payment for purchases with a $100 bill which subsequently was determined to be counterfeit. The Secret Service was notified.

Shoplifting

9650 Main Street / DSW Shoes – On May 26 at 2:51 PM an employee reported that three female subjects had taken ten pair shoes from store without paying for the items. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

 

Larceny

4000 Block of Woodland Drive – On May 27 at 12:24 PM the resident reported sometime between May 2 - May27 unknown person(s) had stolen two flowerbeds from her front pouch. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

 

Vandalism

11100 Block of Little Brook Lane – On May 26 at 12:23 PM the vehicle owner reported that unknown person(s) had put blue paint on her parked vehicle overnight. Officers noticed three other vehicles were vandalized with the blue paint. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

Vandalism

3500 Block of Cornell Road – On May 25 at 10:20 AM the vehicle owner reported that unknown person(s) had damaged the driver’s side view mirror on his parked vehicle. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

Shoplifting

3965 Jermantown Road / 7-Eleven – On May 27 at 2:00 AM an employee reported that an unknown male subject had taken one box of E- Cigarettes from the store without paying. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

Larceny

18-7032

10810 Fairchester Drive / 7-Eleven – On May 25 at 6:14 PM the victim reported that at 3:30 PM unknown person(s) had taken his wallet which he had left in the store. The wallet contained cash and identification. The Field Operations Division is investigating.
