9650 Main Street/DSW – On June 13 at 4:52 PM the employees of the DSW store reported that an unknown individual was observed leaving the store with three pairs of boots that they had not paid for. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

10310 Main Street/Ace Hardware – On June 13 at 1:20 PM an employee of Ace Hardware reported that a chain saw had been left unattended outside the rear of the store for several minutes. During this time, two unknown males in a white Ford F-150 pick-up truck removed the chain saw and left the area without paying for the item. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

10610Main Street/Freedom Bail Bonds – On June 14 at 2:26 PM an employee of Freedom Bail Bonds reported that at an unknown time and date, two vehicles parked behind the business had been vandalized by every window in the vehicles being broken out with bricks. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

Grand Larceny/Auto Theft

11180 Fairfax Blvd/Comfort In – On June 14 at 10:03 PM the complainant reports that her 2005 VW Beetle had been removed from the parking lot of the Comfort Inn by unknown person(S). The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating.

Driving Under the Influence

Draper Road and Fairfax Boulevard – On June 17 at 12:20 AM, officers observed a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Draper Drive and Fairfax Blvd. As a result of the vehicle stop officers arrested Jawad Ahmed Raja, of 9922 Finian Court, Vienna and transported him to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Driving Under the Influence.
