3201 Old Lee Highway / Home Depot – On November 22 at 3:34 PM a security officer reported that he had observed a male subject place items of merchandise in a bag and attempt to leave the store without paying, at which point he was detained. Andrew Baldinger, 31, of 2765 Centreboro Drive, Fairfax, was charged with concealment of merchandise and released on a summons.


10200 Block of Stratford Avenue – On November 23 at 5:55 PM the resident reported that sometime after November 18 unknown person(s) had stolen his unsecured mountain bike from in front of the home.


9650 Main Street / DSW Shoes – On November 24 at 4:26 PM the manager reported that four female subjects had taken twelve “demo” shoes from a display and left the area on foot.


3900 Block of Chain Bridge Road – On November 26 at 9:35 AM the resident reported that sometime between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM on November 25 unknown person(s) had stolen a package which had been delivered to the front porch of the residence.


9570 Main Street / Ross Department Store – On November 26 at 1:17 PM the victim reported that sometime between 12:30 PM and 12:50 PM unknown person(s) had taker her wallet which she had left in her cart while shopping. The wallet contained cash and identification.


10320 Main Street / Walgreens – On November 26 at 4:02 PM an employee reported that she had observed two female subjects concealing items of merchandise in a bag. When the employee attempted to take the bag from them, one of the suspects pushed the employee and slapped her in the face. Both suspects then left the store and got into a vehicle and fled from the area. The victim refused medical treatment. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.
