11106 Lee Highway / Cigar N Vape – On December 20 at 9:17 PM an employee reported that a male subject had entered the store, produced a handgun and demanded money from the register. Subsequently, two male customers were followed into the store by a second male suspect, who joined the first suspect into forcing all three victims into the back room where each was robbed of cash. The suspects then left the business through a back door. One victim was treated at the scene for an injury resulting from being struck by one of the suspects. The suspects were described as wearing all black clothing, black ski masks, black gloves and black sneakers. One was about six feet tall and the other was about five feet ten inches tall. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case.

Trespassing Arrest

9700 Fairfax Boulevard / Rodeway Inn – On December 21 at 3:22 AM a female subject reported that a male acquaintance had locked himself in her room and was refusing to leave. The suspect refused to allow officers to enter the room for about 30 minutes, but officers eventually gained access and took the individual into custody. Jason Charriez, 28, of 2525 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with trespassing and obstruction of justice. His bond was set at $1000.
