DUI Arrest

18-4048

University Drive / Jean Street – On March 30 at 1:12 AM an officer investigating a hit and run crash located one of the vehicles involved in the area and determined that the driver was intoxicated. Jannik Christian Eckenrode, 24, of 7110 Hundsford Lane, Springfield, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. The bond was set at $2500.

 

DUI Arrest

Fairfax Boulevard / Eaton Place – On March 29 at 10:58 PM an officer who had initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle being operated without headlights on determined that the driver was intoxicated. Henry Vidal Montano, 58, of 4805 Briggs Road, Fairfax, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was set at $1000.

 

Vandalism

18-4101

4000 Block of Colonel Mendez Way– On March 31 at 12:34 PM the victim reported that around 6:34 AM on March 31 unknown person(s) had damaged their mailbox. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

 

Shoplifting Arrest

3201 Old Lee Highway / Home Depot – On March 30 at 8:26 AM a security officer reported that he had observed a male subject with items in his hand leave the store without paying, at which point he was detained. Mario Engelberto Ferman, 59, of 101 Silverleaf Court, Sterling, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with grand larceny.

 

Counterfeiting

10296 Main Street / Noodles and Company– On March 30 at 7:36 PM the manager reported that on March 30 at 1:30 PM unknown person(s) had made payment for purchases with a $20 dollar bill which subsequently were determined to be counterfeit. The Secret Service was notified.

 

Shoplifting

18-3991

9650 Main Street / DSW – On March 29 at 4:54 the manager reported that an unknown male subject had taken two pair of shoes from the store without paying. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

Larceny from Vehicle

18-4109

3700 Block of Pickett - On March 31 at 4:20 PM a victim reported that sometime between March 27 at 8:00 PM and March 28 at 8:00AM unknown person(s) had removed a Virginia state inspection sticker, Virginia registration sticker, and a front license plate from her vehicle. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.
