Larceny

9600 Block of Fairfax Boulevard – On August 30 at 3:14 AM the victim reported that sometime between August 29 at 9:00 PM and August 30 at 3:00 AM unknown person(s) had stolen his bicycle which he had left locked to a light pole and the lock was cut. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

 

Larceny

11090 Lee Highway / Shell Gas Station – On September 1 at 5:17 PM an employee reported that on August 31 at 5:00 PM an unknown male pumped gas and left without paying. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

Identity Theft

9400 Block of Fairfax Boulevard – On September 3 at 9:04 PM the resident reported that on September 3 around 6:30 PM unknown person(s) had used her identifying information to withdraw cash on her bank account. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

Larceny from Vehicle

9800 Block of Fairfax Square – On August 31 at 9:31 AM the resident reported that sometime between August 30 at 7:00 PM and August 31 at 9:00 AM unknown person(s) had stolen tools from his work truck which was parked in a parking lot near his residence. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

Fugitive Arrests

18-12692

9800 Block of Main Street – On September 3 at 11:38 AM an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and determined that the driver was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant from Prince George’s County, Maryland. Nathan Dickerson, 47, of 10800 Waco Drive, Maryland was taken into custody and transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was ordered held without bond.

Embezzlement

10955 Fairfax Boulevard #106 / Red Wing Shoes – On August 24 at 11:23 AM the owner reported that beginning in August 2018 an employee had embezzled money from the business by erroneously refunded items and kept the money. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

Shoplifting Arrest

11090 Lee Highway / Shell Gas Station – On September 1 at 4:57 PM a manager reported that a male subject had taken cigarettes from the store without paying. Officers were able to identify the suspect and obtained warrants. On September 2 at 2:21 AM officers located the suspect and took him into custody. Christopher John Petersen, 39, of 8470 Georgia Court, Manassas was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with petit larceny and two outstanding fraud warrants his bond was set at $1500.
