DUI Arrest

3200 Block of Old Lee Highway – On September 16 at 12:31 AM an officer who had initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle determined that the driver was intoxicated. Daniil M. Osminin, 21, of 9830 Fairfax Square, Fairfax, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

11000 Block of Cavalier Court / Parking Lot Area – On September 15 at 10:25 AM the vehicle owner reported that sometime overnight between September 8 and September 9 unknown person(s) had removed the catalytic converter from his parked vehicle. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

Fairfax Boulevard at Jermantown Road – On September 16 at 2:07 AM an officer who had initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle determined that the driver was intoxicated. Pedro Edgar Romero-Rosales, 37, of 3339 Willow Crescent Drive, Fairfax, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

10300 Block of Democracy Lane / Parking Lot Area – On September 14 at 1:45 PM the vehicle owner reported that sometime overnight between September 12 and September 13 unknown person(s) had removed the catalytic converter from her parked vehicle. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.

10900 Block of Oakwood Drive / 4000 Block of Chestnut Street – On September 15 between 8:00 AM and 12:41 PM the owners of three vehicles reported sometime during the previous night unknown person(s) had entered their parked vehicles and rifled through the contents and took several items. Officers were able to identify a suspect through several leads. Layne Weedon, 26, of 11000 Oakwood Drive, Fairfax was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Grand Larceny and petit larceny. Most of the items stolen were recovered by Officers. Bond was set at $6,000.

10383 Democracy Lane / Metropolitan Community Church of Northern Virginia – On September 16 at 1:17 PM the pastor reported that on September 16 between 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM unknown person(s) had stolen a rainbow flag a long with a pink and blue flag hanging in the front of the building. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.
