Larceny from Vehicle

Area of Canfield Street and Chain Bridge Road – On November 5, 2018 at approximately 11:30 AM a complainant reported that on November 3, at approximately 1:00 PM, while he was away from his work truck someone stole multiple items from the rear of his truck.

10000 Block of Forest Avenue – On November 6, 2018 at approximately 1:15 PM, a resident reported that sometime between November 4, 2018 at 5:00 PM and November 6, 2018 at 9:00 AM someone stole political signs from his front yard.

 

DUI Arrest

Main Street at Judicial DriveOn November 5, 2018 at approximately 10:54 PM, officers observed a black BMW run a red light at the intersection of Main Street and Chestnut Street. The vehicle was stopped and the driver failed a series of field sobriety tests. As a result, Kambiz Hamidulla Bakhshiyar, 32, of 11557 Cavalier Landing Court, Fairfax, VA, was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

 

DUI Arrest

Chain Bridge Road at Fairfax Boulevard On November 7, 2018 at approximately 2:15 AM, officers observed a black Toyota Prius sitting on the side of Chain Bridge Road. As officers stopped to assist the driver they determined that the operator was possibly intoxicated. The driver failed a series of field sobriety test. As a result Jorge Neil Duque, 45, of 2500 Colombia Pike, Arlington, VA, transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was set at $2000.
