Vandalism

10360 North Street – On December 3, 2018, at approximately 9:09 PM, officers were dispatched to 10360 North Street for vandalism to a vehicle. Reporting person stated that sometime between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM persons unknown had slashed all four of his vehicle tires while it was parked in the parking garage. Field Investigations Division is investigating.

11003 Lee Highway/CVS – On November 26, 2018 at approximately 8:17 PM, officers were dispatched to the CVS store at 11003 Lee Highway for a retail theft. The reporting person observed a female subject leave the store without paying for some merchandise. Field Investigations Division is investigating.

9600 Main Street/Carters – On November 27, 2018, at approximately 2:23 PM, officers were dispatched to the Carters Store at 9600 Main Street for a retail theft. Reporting person stated that earlier that day three female subjects entered the store, placed an unknown amount of merchandise in bags and then ran out without paying. Field Investigations Division is investigating.

9776 Fairfax Boulevard/Moore Automotive – On November 30, 2018, at approximately 11:53 AM, officers responded to 9776 Fairfax Boulevard for a larceny that had occurred earlier. The reporting person stated that sometime during the previous night persons unknown had cut through a fence and stolen a ‘Whipple Supercharger” from a 2014 Camaro that had been parked on their lot. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating.

9860 Fairfax Boulevard. – On November 30, 2018 at approximately 8:25 PM, officers were dispatched to 9860 Fairfax Boulevard. for a larceny that occurred earlier. The complainant reported that persons unknown had broken into six vehicles parked at this location. Various items and cash were taken from the vehicles. Field Investigations Division is investigating.

DUI/Hit and Run

Fairfax Circle - On November 30, 2018 at approximately 10:59 PM, officers were dispatched to a vehicle crash at Fairfax Circle. Investigation determined that a white 1986 GMC Van had run a red light and struck another vehicle. The driver attempted to flee the scene. Stephen Wade Stanko 6390 Phillip Court, Springfield, VA was arrested, transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, and charged with DWI, Hit & Run, License Revoked Habitual Offender and Refusal to submit to a breath test. He was held without bond.

3201 Old Lee Highway/Home Depot- On November 26, 2018, at approximately 2:26 PM officers responded to 3201 Old Lee Highway for a retail theft which had occurred earlier. Reporting person stated that a male subject was observed by an employee placing a power drill inside a backpack and leaving the store without paying. Field Investigations Division is investigating.
