Washington Gas Project Commences on Old Post Road 1/6-21
Beginning January 6, Washington Gas will begin construction to replace gas main and service lines on Old Post Road, between Spring Lake Terrace and Colony Road (see map below). Property owners affected by this construction have received a letter from Washington Gas with information about how the project may affect them directly.
Work hours will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, and work is expected to continue until about January 21 (weather permitting).
During work hours, there will be alternating one-way traffic control in the work zone. Properties within the project area will remain accessible while work is taking place.
Please drive carefully in the construction zone and obey direction given by flaggers and construction crew. Expect delays and consider alternate routes when possible.
Project dates and times are subject to change. Information: 703-385-7810, 703-385-7828,email.
