An application was submitted on 8/6/18 for rezoning to the Planned Development Mixed-Use District. The application proposes to redevelop six parcels including the Breezeway Motel, Fairfax Garden Apartments and 4 single family homes into 74 total townhomes, 8 of which are proposed as live-work units along Fairfax Boulevard.
In addition to the requested rezoning, the proposal would require a Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map amendment from Business-Commercial and Residential - Low to Transitional and Residential – High. The application is currently under review by City staff.
