A rezoning application was submitted on August 6, 2018 for a mixed-use Planned Development. The application proposes to redevelop six parcels including the Breezeway Motel, Fairfax Garden Apartments and 4 single family homes into 42 townhomes, 20 two-over-two condos and 8,000 sf to 10,000 sf of commercial space along Fairfax Boulevard.
The applicant is requesting to rezone the properties from CR Commercial Retail, RMF Multifamily and RH Residential High to PD-M Planned Development - Mixed Use; approval of a Master Development Plan and a right-of-way vacation of 4,600 sf on Cedar Avenue.
