 Traditional Camps

Our American Camp Association accredited summer camps offer your children the opportunity of a lifetime to engage in safe and enjoyable activities, while forming positive relationships with other campers and staff. We strive to provide programs that will allow children to grow and develop intellectually, physically, culturally and socially.

Full Summer: Wednesday, June 20th-Friday August 10th

Week 1: Wed, June 20-Fri, June 22 (three days) Week 5: July 16-July 20
Week 2: June 25-June 29 Week 6: July 23-July 27
Week 3: July 2-July 6 (no camp on July 4th)

Week 7: July 30- August 3

Registration Payments and Discounts

Payment Plans

 At the time of registration, you may choose to pay for the entire summer in full or go on a payment plan.  If you choose to use the Payment Plan option, you will be required to enroll in the Automatic Payment Plan with a credit card to be held on file. 

Payment Plan Schedule  

 A deposit of $100 (Full summer) or $25 (each individual session) will be due at the time of registration and the remaining balance will be split into three equal payments.  They will be charged to the credit card on file March 1st, April 1st, and May 1st. If registering after a payment date, the deposit and past payment amounts will be due at the time of registration.

Sibling Discount  A sibling discount will be applied for families registering for camp with two or more children in the same household.  A discount of $50 off the FULL summer registration is given for each child in a family of two or more. Qualifiers:  A ‘sibling’ is categorized as one of two or more individuals having one or both parents in common.
Refunds & Transfers
 To request a refund, a Refund Request Form must be completed.  If approved, refunds will be processed minus a $100 fee for the full summer or $25 for each withdrawn session.  No refunds will be given after June 11th.   Space permitting, transfers into different sessions will be allowed and a transfer fee will be charged.
Financial Assistance

 Financial Assistance is available for CITY OF FAIRFAX residents who qualify.  Please read and complete the Financial Assistance Application.  All applicants must call to make an appointment: 703-385-7858 or email karen.lussier@fairfaxva.gov.  Deadline for Financial Assistance for camps is June 1, 2018.


Field Trips

The costs of the field trips are incorporated into the price of the camp.  Please see the specific description for the amount and types of field trip(s) for each camp. Field trip calendars will be available in April.

Emergency Contact/Medical Forms

It is REQUIRED that all guardians complete a new Health Profile online every year.  These forms are available CampDoc.com and should be completed AFTER your child is registered for camp.   They include emergency contacts, health history and other important information for camp staff to keep your child as safe as possible.  These forms must be completed NO LATER than June 1st.  Children will not be permitted to be dropped off at camp without completing this online form.
