1. Property Yard Recycling Center
Update: Effective Friday, April 3, 2020 the Property Yard Recycling Center will be closed permanently. The City has experienced multiple challenges associated with operating the Recycling Center including increased costs for single stream recycling services due to the declining recycling market, and persistent problems associated with illegal dumping. The recycling facilities at the I-66 transfer station and the I-95 landfill complex are open and can be used for free by Fairfax City residents.

7 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily, excluding holidays
Accepted materials include: single-stream recycling, waste oil and oil filters, rechargeable batteries, and car batteries.
