City assessment notices are mailed out in March of each year. Property owners are allowed a thirty day period following receipt of the notice to appeal the assessment to the Assessor's Office; please be sure to see the informational section entitled "What do you do if you do not agree with your assessment?" for further information. Following administrative review, assessments can be further appealed to the Board of Equalization if desired. The deadline for appeal to the Board is June 29.
