After a short hiatus, the beloved Fishing Derby is making its big return to Ashby Pond Conservatory—and the pond will be freshly stocked with hundreds of trout just waiting to be caught!

Whether you're a seasoned angler or casting a line for the very first time, this event is the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors, learn something new, and maybe even reel in dinner.

What to Expect

• A pond fully stocked with trout
• Bait provided (we’ve got you covered!)
• Friendly volunteers offering: 
  • Fishing instruction
  • Fun pond education
  • Fish cleaning demonstrations

It’s hands-on, educational, and a whole lot of fun for all ages.

What to Bring

• Fishing rod
• Bucket
• Plastic bag
• Ice

Registration Details 

Each session runs 45 minutes. Pre-registration is required (no same-day registration permitted).

$7 per fisherman with groups up to 6 permitted.
