The following list of community meetings may be attended by some, or all, members of City Council and may require notification to the public that it is a meeting of City Council. Therefore, the following meetings are being presented to the public as meetings of the City Council so as to adequately inform the public.

  • Fairfax Village in the City Advisory Board Meeting, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Sherwood Community Center, 3740 Blenheim Boulevard.
  • City of Fairfax Band Children's Concert, on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at Sherwood Community Center, 3740 Blenheim Boulevard. 
  • House of Wood Community Appreciation Ceremony, on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 4325 Chain Bridge Road.
  • City of Fairfax Police Department - National Night Out, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. throughout the City of Fairfax neighborhoods.
