How To Vote

Election Day - Easy as 1-2-3

  1. Get your Ballot
    • Present your ID to an Election Officer
    • State your name and address
  2. Mark your Ballot
    • Mark your ballot in the privacy booth
    • Fill in the oval(s) completely
  3. Scan your Ballot
    • Insert your ballot into the voting machine
    • Don't forget your "I Voted!" sticker!

Find your Polling Location

To vote on Election Day, you will have to go to your designated polling location. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

If you requested a ballot by mail but you decide to vote on Election Day, bring your unvoted by-mail ballot with you to your designated polling location.

Voting Equipment

The City of Fairfax uses Unisyn OpenElect voting systems.
