Bike to Work Day

Join the City of Fairfax in Old Town Square on May 15 to help us celebrate Bike to Work Day!

Bike to Work Day is an annual celebration of an enjoyable, healthy, and sustainable way to get to work or school. Thousands of commuters across the DMV will be participating. Join the fun at the city's pit stop party in Old Town Square! Register in advance for your free t-shirt (while supplies last). There will also be snacks, raffle prizes, and other goodies sponsored by local businesses.

Everyone is welcome, whether this is your first ride or you've been biking for years. Biking partway also counts — take your bike on transit or park and ride for a longer commute.

Are you interested in contributing to this event? Here are a few ways to get more involved:

Volunteer: Sign up here to help distribute flyers or to help set up and run the Bike to Work Day pit stop.
Partner: Complete this short survey if you are interested in donating raffle prizes, snacks, or other goodies or hosting a table at the Bike to Work Day pit stop.
Lead a Ride: Organize a bicycle convoy and ride with friends and coworkers to the Bike to Work Day event.
