Build-Your-Own Rain Barrel Workshop

Join us for the Annual Build-Your-Own Rain Barrel Workshop on Saturday, August 30 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Green Acres Center (4401 Sideburn Road). Registration is required and costs $55 per barrel, which includes all materials, tools, and guidance needed to build your rain barrel.

Emergency Preparedness Expo

Join the Community Emergency Preparedness Expo on Saturday, Sept. 6, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Sherwood Center. Grammy-winning 123 Andrés performs at 10 a.m., debuting a new emergency preparedness song. Explore vendor tables, learn emergency prep tips, and enjoy Touch-A-Truck with ambulances, firetrucks, and police cars. Take home prizes and safety materials. Free admission and family-friendly!

Trick-or-Treat Trail 2025

The Trick-or-Treat Trail is a drive-through Halloween event for children 12 and under that is held by the police department in their parking lot. Please enter the parking lot and remain in your car. Drive slowly, roll down your windows, and stop at each station to receive a treat! Costumes encouraged but not required!
