Attempted Malicious Wounding Arrest

 

CITY OF FAIRFAX — On December 1, 2025, at approximately 12:20 p.m., the City of Fairfax Police Department responded to Saba Yemeni Restaurant located at 3900 Pickett Road, for the report of a male subject threatening employees with a knife. Investigation revealed that the suspect got into an argument with the manager over his employment status, threatened the staff with a knife, and destroyed property belonging to the business. Officers quickly arrived and took the subject into custody without incident, and recovered the knife. No injuries were reported.

 

Hadi Abboud, 23, of Fairfax was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with one count of Attempted Malicious Wounding and one count of misdemeanor Destruction of Property. Abboud was held on a secured bond.
