With Fairfax City Alert, subscribers receive alerts from the City of Fairfax as events arise via:

  • Mobile app
  • Text
  • Email
  • Telephone call (Automated phone calls are issued only for tornado warnings or under other very limited circumstances – please include a second option [text/email/mobile app] to receive all messages from subscribed categories.)

Subscribers receive messages about what they want by the method of their choice.
