Join the biannual community cleanup event on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteer groups or their designee can meet at the ‘pit-stop’ at the Van Dyck Park, 3720 Blenheim Blvd, to pick up supplies, snacks, and learn more about the harmful impacts of litter.

From there, individuals and groups can proceed to a designated cleanup location and City Crews will pick up the litter collected. The city will provide gloves, reflective vests, picker tools, and trash bags for all community cleanup participants.

The result of this hard work and collaboration is a clean, litter-free city for our residents and visitors to enjoy. Besides being an eyesore, litter can disrupt ecosystems, harm wildlife, and pollute streams and waterways. Picking up litter is a small effort that make a big impact on our local environment and communities. City residents participating in a community cleanup events are also eligible to apply for Stormwater Utility Credits, please visit the Stormwater Utility page for more information and to apply.

Please pre-register for the community cleanup event.
