Curbside vacuum-leaf collection runs Nov. 2 through Dec. 31. Please rake leaves loose to the curb. Bagged leaves are not collected during this time. 

What can go in your leaf pile

• Yes: Leaves, grass clippings, and weeds.
• No: Stones, branches, and other objects that may damage equipment.

Other yard waste
The city does not collect yard waste in plastic bags. Use paper bags, twine, or refuse containers for other yard waste set out at the curb.

How it works

• The city is divided into six zones.
• Leaf trucks work in one zone at a time until it’s finished, then move to the next.
• Each zone is collected about once a week, sometimes more often.
• Heavy leaf fall or bad weather may cause delays.
• Leaf collection may create dust.
