CITY OF FAIRFAX —The City of Fairfax Police Department is investigating numerous crimes involving a group of individuals made up of young adults and juveniles. On October 17th at approximately 9:00 p.m. officers at the Fairfax High School Football game observed a group of disorderly individuals resulting in a subject being escorted off campus. On October 17th at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers responded for a robbery at 10775 Fairfax Blvd. (McDonalds) in which the suspects assaulted a juvenile and stole their clothing. Some of these suspects are believed to be the same individuals from the incident at the football game.
On October 18th at approximately 10:00 p.m. officers responded to a party in the 4000 block of Virginia Street for the report of a robbery resulting in the discharge of a firearm. A group of suspects assaulted the victim resulting in a non-life threatening injury. During the assault a firearm was discharged striking a wall. The suspects took the victim’s shoes and clothing.
On October 19th at approximately 5:50 a.m. officers responded for a shoplifting at 9700 Fairfax Boulevard (Wawa) in which the same group of individuals is believed to have stolen multiple items and fled the area.
