Concealment of Merchandise Arrest

Officers responded for the report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that an unknown male entered the business, took multiple items, and concealed them inside his bag. Officers located the subject inside the store, located the concealed items, and determined that the subject had provided false identifying information. Jose Diaz Orellana, 34, of No Fixed Address was arrested and transported to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Concealment of Merchandise and Providing False Information to Law Enforcement. Diaz Orellana was held on no bond. (2025-11719)

Officers responded for the report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that an unknown male entered the business, took multiple items, and left the business without rendering payment. Officers located the subject nearby. The investigation revealed that the suspect was wanted out of Fairfax County. Naomi Spruill, 30, of No Fixed Address was arrested and transported to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Petit Larceny and served his active warrant for Failure to Appear. While searching for a larceny suspect, officers were alerted to the suspect's presence inside of the store. Officers located the subject as she was concealing merchandise and instructed her to return the items. The suspect refused to divulge her information to officers. The suspect was transported to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where she was charged with Concealment of Merchandise and Petit Larceny (2025-11738). The suspect was held on no bond. The reporting party stated that an unknown male contact them, posed as a Microsoft employee, informed them that their computer was hacked, and requested that they transfer money to a fraudulent account. The victim's bank determined this to be fraud and blocked the transaction. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating. (2025-11864)

DUI Arrest

An officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle being driven without headlights and conducted a traffic stop. The investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Bradley Braanet, 66, of Centreville was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Refusal. Braanet was held until he was deemed sober. (2025-11915)
