During a planned traffic detail, officers observed a known male driving who was recently charged with Driving Without a License. Officers confirmed the subject was still unlicensed and obtained a warrant for Driving Without a License. Officers observed the subject on July 8. Juan Herrera-Paredes, 56, of No Fixed Address was arrested and transported the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was served his warrant. The reporting party stated that an unknown male was attempting to return merchandise stolen from the store, then left the business with the merchandise. Officers located the subject nearby. The investigation revealed that the items in the subject's possession were stolen. David Weatherall, 32, of Springfield was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Grand Larceny. Weatherall was held on secured bond. Usmonkhon Umarov, 22, of Fairfax was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with DUI and Driving without a License. An officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle being operated erratically and conducted a traffic stop. During the investigation the subject aggressively swung their car door open intentionally striking an officer in the leg. No injuries were reported. The investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Jon Bucklaw. 54, of Fairfax was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with DUI, Assault on Law Enforcement, and Refusal.
