Noise Violation Arrest

Officers responded for the report of a dog barking for an extended period of time. Officers observed that the complaint was in violation of the noise ordinance and attempted to make contact with the owner with no result. The owner was located a short time later. Aurora Gutarra, 62, of Fairfax was issued a Virginia Uniform Summons for City of Fairfax Code 38-11 Loud, Disturbing, Unnecessary Noises. Gutarra has a pending City of Fairfax General District Court date. (2025-17897)
DUI Arrest
3200 block of Perry Street

Officers responded for the report of a vehicle parked in the middle of the roadway. Officers located the vehicle and made contact with the driver. The investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Jorge Marroquin Lemus, 44, of Charlotte, NC was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Marroquin Lemus was held until he was deemed sober. (2025-17952)
