The proposal would be the final phase of a PD-M District approved in 2020. The concept plan proposes one seven-story multifamily building and one upper-story mixed-use building connected by a seven-story parking garage, with up to 350 units, up to 7,000 sf of ground-floor commercial and approximately 450 parking spaces. Access is from Northfax Street and Chain Bridge Road.
The potential applicant is requesting an amendment to an existing Master Development Plan with modifications, update to the existing commitments, and a Major Certificate of Appropriateness for architecture and landscaping. This proposed application would be subject to the City's Affordable Dwelling Unit (ADU) ordinance.
