Background

The subject site has two existing buildings totaling 4,735 square feet.

Requests

The applicant requests to redevelop the subject property with a Tommy’s Express car wash. The proposed car wash building consists of approximately 4,553 square feet and will include single-lane tunnel with 3 stacking lanes. The application also provides for (14) self-serve vacuum stations on the east side of the site.

• Special Use Permit to allow Vehicle Service
• Special Exception to allow modification to Section 3.5.3.K of the Zoning Ordinance, to allow the installation and use of exterior vacuum stations
• Special Exception to allow modification to Section 4.5.6 of the Zoning Ordinance, to the street tree requirements
• Special Exception to allow for a modification to Section 4.5.7.C of the Zoning Ordinance to install a fence within the required TY3 transitional yard along the southern and western property lines.
