Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center - Event Venue

The center is ideal for every size function and event from the intimate small group meeting to your most anticipated wedding reception or anniversary party. Choose from one of the three flexible rooms ranging from the beautifully adorned wood floor Performance Space to the unique character of the Rehearsal Room.

Ideally located in the center of the City of Fairfax adjacent to the beautiful park grounds of Van Dyck Park and within walking distance to the vibrant Old Town Fairfax, the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center will help your function be a success and your guests feel at home.

For more reservation information or to set up an appointment to view a venue, contact our team at rentalvenues@fairfaxva.gov. Appointments are highly encouraged to ensure you are able to see the space you are interested in.

Please note that all payments are due 60 days before your rental. If you are renting within 60 days of your rentals date, full payment will be due at the time of rental.

Deadline to submit rental applications for an upcoming month is on the 14th of the month prior. Applications sent after this deadline won't be considered unless they occur during public hours (i.e. applications for a December rental must be submitted by November 14th at the latest). You can submit rental applications up to two years in advance.

Full Performance Space Capacity: 333 people with tables and chairs, 500 with chairs only
Half Performance Space Capacity: 167 people with tables and chairs, 250 with chairs only
