Fairfax City staff are seeking public input as they begin planning for the FY 2028 budget. Residents are invited to join a multi-platform community meeting, “Engage Fairfax: Shaping the FY 2028 Budget Priorities,” at 6 p.m. Nov. 5.
The meeting will be offered in person at City Hall, online via Zoom, livestreamed on the city website, and cablecast live on Channel 12. The evening will feature an interactive discussion, including live polls and opportunities to submit questions about the budget and the budget process.
Information about how to join the meeting, including the Zoom link and QR codes, will be published on this page, in the November Cityscene, posted in a news article on the city website, and shared on the city’s social media platforms.
Information on the current FY 2027 budget and previous budgets is available on the city website at fairfaxva.gov/budget.
Feedback collected during the event will be presented to the mayor and city council during their annual budget work session on Nov. 7.
