The City of Fairfax has received technical assistance from the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (MWCOG) to conduct a Roadway Safety Audit of Pickett Road. As part of this process, the city is hosting a public engagement meeting before consultant work begins, giving residents the opportunity to share input that will directly inform the audit.
At this meeting, residents can review maps and identify specific locations of concern along Pickett Road. Your feedback will be shared with the selected consultant, who is anticipated to begin data collection in August or September 2026.
