Officers identified the subject, who had been trespassed from the property. Khalid Gharzai, 40, of No Fixed Address was arrested and transported to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Trespassing. Gharzai was held without bond. (2025-19257)

Assault

Officers responded for the report of an assault. The reporting party stated that an unknown male subject attacked them at a house party, punching them in the face. After the subject was pulled off the reporting party, persons unknown pushed them down the stairs as they attempted to leave. The victim sustained injuries and was treated at the scene. Officers responded for the report of trespassing. The reporting party stated that an unknown male subject was sitting in the entry. Officers located the subject in the entry. The subject, who was known to officers, was previously trespassed from the property. Farrukh Khan, 68, of No Fixed Address was arrested and transported to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Trespassing. Khan was held on a secured bond. (2026-0014)


Hit and Run Arrest

3100 Block of Draper Drive

January 2, 2026 • 5:47 a.m.

Officers responded for the report of a hit and run. The reporting party stated that persons unknown struck their vehicle and the vehicle parked behind them between December 31 and January 2. The subject contacted the department later the same day and took responsibility for the wreck. Karen Turcios, 25, of Fairfax was served two permissible magistrate warrants for Hit and Run and advised of her court date. (2026-0045)

Officers responded for the report of an assault. The reporting party stated that an unknown male subject opened their vehicle's door into the reporting party's vehicle, causing damage. DUI Arrest

3100 Block of Barnard Court

January 4, 2026 • 2:14 a.m.

Officers on routine patrol observed a vehicle speeding and swerving near the intersection of Fairfax Boulevard and Fair Woods Parkway. The officers initiated a traffic stop, which was disregarded. When the vehicle stopped, the driver refused to cooperate and attempted to elude the officers. Frank Whitestone, 63, of Fairfax was arrested and transported to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Obstructing Justice, Driving Under the Influence, Assault and Battery of a Police Officer, Refusal, Reckless Driving, Driving With a Suspended or Revoked License, Vehicle to Be Under Proper Control, and Disregarding or Eluding Law Enforcement. Whitestone was held until deemed sober. (2026-0126)
