Officers responded for the report of a weapon brandishing. The reporting party stated an unknown male subject pointed a firearm at him during a traffic dispute. Investigation revealed the subject pointed the firearm at the reporting party and fled the area. Officers identified the subject and obtained warrants. Paul Nguyen, 56, of Fairfax was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Assault and Battery, Reckless handling of a firearm, and brandishing firearm. Nguyen was released on an unsecure bond. (2025-15146)

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle Arrest

Officers responded for a flock alert for a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle, initiated a traffic stop, and detained the driver without incident. The investigation revealed that the driver was wanted out of Fairfax County. Ayub Hassan, 19, of Falls Church was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was served his warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Hassan was also charged with driving without headlights, and driving without a license. Hassan was released on an unsecured bond. (2025-15404)
