Learn more in a free workshop from 10-11:30 a.m. Oct. 24 that will educate small, woman- and minority-owned business owners about opportunities to sell their goods and services to the Commonwealth of Virginia and local governments.
"Intro to State Government Contracting" will be held at WillowWood Plaza, 10300 Eaton Place, Fairfax, in the large conference room.
This 90-minute workshop will provide information about Virginia's procurement process (the eVA system) and the benefits of SWaM certification (Small, Woman-owned and Minority business). The featured speaker is Chris Tran Ley, business services manager at the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity.
The event is hosted by the Fairfax City Office of Procurement Services and the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity.
