Enjoy a free guided walking tour through Old Town Fairfax. Tours are led by guides from Historic Fairfax City, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation and preservation of the history of the City of Fairfax. See the original courthouse (built in 1800) and learn about the 200-year evolution of the city from the Town of Providence in 1805, to our modern era.
Tours start at the front of the Historic Fairfax Courthouse (corner of Main St. and Chain Bridge Rd.).
HFCI recommends you wear a hat and sturdy walking shoes and bring a bottle of water.
