A hilarious musical comedy—part Shakespeare, part showbiz chaos! Fairfax High School’s Theatre Department is proud to present Something Rotten!, a high-energy musical comedy that brings the Renaissance to life with a modern twist. Set in 1595, the story follows struggling playwrights Nick and Nigel Bottom as they attempt to outshine the rock star of the era, William Shakespeare. Packed with clever wordplay, show-stopping musical numbers, and plenty of theatrical inside jokes, Something Rotten! is a joyful celebration of creativity, ambition, and the magic of live theatre.
