A construction kick-off meeting will be held in the performing arts room at the Sherwood Center to discuss the joint project between Fairfax City and Fairfax County.
The project team will discuss the construction schedule and what to expect for traffic, parking, noise, and site safety, and how those impacts will be minimized. Coordination with the Blenheim Boulevard Multimodal Improvements Project will be discussed.
The building design, which was influenced by community input, will be shared.
Attendees will learn which programs are moving to the new building and how current programs will continue throughout the construction phase of the project.
