The Green Acres Center is a multifaceted community facility offering a variety of amenities and programs for residents. Originally constructed in 1961 as Green Acres Elementary School, the 41,000-square-foot building functioned as an educational institution until 2000. Post-closure, the facility was repurposed to serve the community's diverse needs. The Green Acres Center offers many options for your next meeting as well as your next social occasion. 

Green Acres Center houses:

  • Parks and Recreation Department registration and reservation services; recreation classes; Senior and Teen Center membership services
  • Young at Heart Senior Center
